Jocelyn specializes in twentieth-century American culture and literature with a focus on material culture and the built environment.Ìý She is particularly interested in American culture during periods of social and political reform. Jocelyn has taught first-year writing at md´«Ã½¹ú²ú¾ç College, and she currently serves as one of the assistant directors of theÌýbiennial md´«Ã½¹ú²ú¾ç College English Graduate Conference.
Before joining the Ph.D. program, Jocelyn receivedÌýher bachelor's degree in American history from Bates College, and she earned her master’s degree in English literature from md´«Ã½¹ú²ú¾ç College.Ìý
